These electric jackhammers are available in 2 sizes, 40 lbs. and 72 lbs. The 40 lb. model is good for in the house, tight quarters, and smaller jobs. It breaks down 4-inch thick concrete. The 72 lb. model is more appropriate for outside projects and can break up 6-inch thick concrete. Electric jackhammers don't use air compressors, so there is less of a chance of the equipment spreading dust and dirt around the work area, which can be important if you are indoors. Also these jackhammers are good for removing ceramic tile or digging in hard ground.
